Arrived Jim and Mary's RV Park in Missoula for a week. This is our 4th stay here since 2014. We are in site #A15 and unable to connect to Dish even tho they said it was satellite site so we are on their cable..very limited. In spite of this, this is a very nice and maintained park with lots of flower displays, trees and convenient at exit 96 on IH 90. On the way in at same exit is an RV/Truck wash so we had the RV and car washed. While here we hope to visit several RV parks in the Flathead Lake area and we are going up to Helena to visit and have lunch with friends Rocky and Loretta. Sorry Pat and Darwin we won't make it to Great Falls, but will see you at Nellis this winter.

Weather has not been so good but we did venture up to Lincoln via Hwy 200 to visit the Blackfoot Sculpture in the Wild exhibit. Interesting displays and admire the work of the artists and their creatively. Park is open everyday and is free.Later learned from Rocky and Loretta on our visit that this is area where the Unibomber was living and found.

On Tuesday we drove up to Flathead Lake via Hwy 93 to view some campgrounds. Found 2 that we are considering for our summer 2020 visit. Eagle's Nest in Polson and Edgewater in Lakeside. Both are very nice and Edgewater is across Hwy from the Lake with a good view. Eagle's Nest is as you come into town and convenient to Safeway and Walmart, but no water views. Sites on both parks are nice and of course for summer rather pricey as is true with most of the nicer RV parks. Was hoping to get up to the Glacier Park area, but day was getting late. Stopped at Chick Filet in Kalispell for dinner and so happens that today was wear a cow costume and get free meal. Of course they were busy and had to get hug from the mascot. We like eating at Chick Filet and we both had a delicious peach milkshake.

Wednesday we drove to Helena to visit good friends Rocky and Loretta we met several years ago at Nellis and again in Tucson. Our last visit was in 2017 at their home. We always enjoy our time with them and their hospitality is very warming. Also love to hear their tales of travels and life. Loretta, you should write a book. Hope you have kept good notes over the years. After a delicious lunch, Loretta and I walked around a local park and lake while Rocky and John went over to Ft Harrison to the Exchange. Until next time, dear friends, keep in touch..love you.

Tomorrow is get ready to go day and get oil changed in car at Jiffy Lube. Long drive to Billings..355 miles via IH 90.
We always enjoy our travels in Montana and have on previous trips followed the Lewis and Clark Trail. It is a beautiful state and probably our 2nd favorite next to Oregon. We plan to spend most of next summer in several different areas.
