Back in the land of limited recycling. Many of the campgrounds don't recycle including military bases. Must commend Canada for their strict and diligent recycling program. Even food scraps. They take pride in the environment and pride of ownership and culture.
After departing Oak Haven in Wales, MA on 16 June we drove the 300 miles to Sodus Point, NY and South Haven Campground on Lake Ontario. This was our 2nd visit. Owners very nice and I remembered the puzzle picture in office. Did forget they do not have a laundry so will carry it to Huron River Valley. We are only here for 2 nights.

19 June we departed for Joliet IL 300 miles and 1 night at Hollywood Casino RV Park. Nice Campground with laundry and easy walk to casino. Had dinner in Cafe. Free breakfast is offered in Hotel next to campground which we did before departing. Sites have water and electric and dump station.
20 June we arrived at Timberline RV park in Waukee, IA just outside Des Moines. A beautiful setting and quiet. The resident dogs greeted us and of course had to get petting and lovin. They are so calm and sweet. Wish we had longer here. Only saw 1 deer. Would definitely recommend this place..a hidden jewel.

23 June we stayed at Holiday RV in North Platte,NE. Nice campground and staff..convenient off IH 80.
24 June we arrived at F E Warren AFB in Cheyenne for a 1 night stay. This was our 2nd visit since 2009. There are lots of Pronghorn on base and appears many babies born this spring. Interesting to watch the momma and daddy watch over the young ones. Today is John's 81st and he spent day after long drive doing some work on battery cable. We then took walk around the historic part of the base just up the hill. Got some more pronghorn pictures. Early departure tomorrow for 400 mile trip to our next campground Holiday Park just off IH 80 and IH 84.

26 June we left around 700AM for another 400 mile day to Caldwell ID at Ambassador RV Park off IH84 near OR hwy 20 our route into Oregon..a 300 mile trip. This is a real nice, maintained, organized, great pull thru sites with gravel. Campground is very neat and not cluttered. Very nice clubroom, pool and laundry. Would highly recommend this park. Has easy access at exit 29 on IH84. There is also a flying J with RV islands and great wash which we had them do for $40. Motorhome was absolutely filthy and an embarrassment to park for the night. Wish more parks for a small fee let you wash your RV. Black flies are in abundance and every stop, John has to wash the front.
