Our blog is to keep family and friends informed of our motorhome journeys.
We have dreamed of this for many years and finally our dream has come true.
We are looking forward to many happy miles ahead.

Snowfall in San Antonio

8 December 2017

The weather turned rainy, cold and windy this week with unexpected snowfall last night. First snowfall we have experienced since we were at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs in September of 2011. Prior to that Butte MT in May of 2010 and Bryce Canyon in October of 2009.
Put Electric Blanket on bed and made a pot of chili to keep us warm.

Snowfall at FT Sam RV Park-San Antonio

Even though the snow was light, Granddaughter Parker and friends were able to build two snowmen. Hope to see them when we go over today.

John finally got the new toilet installed yesterday. Not a job he cares to do again, but at least he now has the knowledge of how to do an installation. This one is so much nicer that the old one. If you decide to own an RV, you better know how to take care of certain things that can go wrong..fortunately, he does which has saved us a lot of expense.

Saturday we are traveling up to Round Rock to visit Christine and family. We will then travel to Flower Mound to visit Liz and grandsons returning on Sunday. We are just taking the car since it is a short trip.

Sun is shining today with temperatures expected in the 50's.

Day After-Nice to see Blue Sky

Oh yes, we seem to have a ghost traveling with us...hee hee..
