Our blog is to keep family and friends informed of our motorhome journeys.
We have dreamed of this for many years and finally our dream has come true.
We are looking forward to many happy miles ahead.

More Dinners with Cliff and Jill. Walks on Beach

4-7 December 2015

Once again we got together with Cliff and Jill for dinners.

On Friday they invited us to join them and Cliff's daughter Agnes and her husband Gene at "The Galley at the Marina"  restaurant in Chula Vista for dinner and dancing. We had so much fun. Cliff and I did some moves on the dance floor to Jimmy Buffet tunes and later John had a couple of slow dances. Most fun I've had in long time and thank you for inviting us and treating us to dinner. See you when we drive down from LV to Lake Havasu.

Monday they invited us to the San Diego Yacht Club for dinner, again with Agnes and Gene. Cliff has been a member for over 40 years. Visited them before dinner on their sailboat "Super Gnat" that we sailed on last year. They have decided to sell it now that they are living in Lake Havasu. Had some good food, libation and enjoyable conversation. Thank you all again.

John and I have been taking walks on the beaches as well as around the campground. My goal is to reach 650 miles before my physical at Nellis AFB. Took some pictures with the iPhone that did not turn out very good, but will post anyway. We like Coronado, probably one of our favorite places in California. Another place to relax, reflect and just do nothing.

Coronado has Christmas Trees decorated along the Strand and parking is free during December.
Got my Christmas cards addressed and some emailed. Also, in  lieu of Christmas gifts to grandkids and children, we made charitable donations. Just seems like the right thing to do this time of year.
