Scenic Drive on Hwy 128 and Deer in the Campground

1 July 2015

The weather has been overcast last few days with temperatures still in the 100's. Even so decided to take a drive on Hwy 128 around 25 miles for some scenic views. Not a bad drive, but sun would have been nice. The drive takes you by the Colorado River through the Red Canyons and Cliffs. You also pass by several ranch lodges. Also saw some floaters on the calm Colorado.

In the evening saw a family of 3 deer in the meadow behind the campground, so had to get some photos.

Friday we leave for Hill AFB in Ogden UT for 5 nights before heading to West Yellowstone MT for 2 weeks.

Hope sent a picture of cherry  picking in the Dalles. Oregon and Washington produce some of the best cherries. John can eat a bag full with no problem.
