The drive up I35 from Austin to Denton was OK until we outside Dallas. Construction everywhere causing traffic delays and just a mess. We did stop at Bucee's in Temple for one of their delicious brisket and egg tortillas. Road construction here as well.
When we arrived at the Destiny RV park, we were told that our pullthru which we reserved and paid for last September was unavailable due to the closure of parks in the area as a result of the floods and these campers found space here. I can understand the situation so did not complain. We were given a backin site near the office which meant we are back to back with another RV and no Dish Satellite. The park except for a few open spaces is very wooded with lots of Live Oak Trees. There is a pool and laundry and also a do it yourself car and RV wash. All in all it is not bad, but not a park that I would like to stay more than a week.

Oh yes, there is good Wi-Fi and a $2.50/day electricity charge. Our space 140 with Good Sam discount was $208 for 6 nights. Guess I should have asked for a refund on the difference we paid which would have amounted to $20. Must say it is a good thing we reserved this as the two previous parks we have stayed are now flooded.
Gave daughter Liz a call and we decided to meet for dinner tomorrow night. Anxious to see her and grandsons Ryan and Michael.
Ryan is graduating HS on Saturday which is the reason for our visit. Eric and Christine and their families will be here as well.

Visited with Liz and grandsons before going to dinner at Black Walnut Cafe..newly opened in Flower Mound. Has been two years since we saw grandsons and a year since seeing Liz in LV last year. They all look great.
