Visits with Sons Darin, Eric and Family

2 May 2015

We went over to son Darin and Kerry's for dinner and to see their new home. Had a delish and healthy dinner of salad, grilled vegetables and chicken. Their home is beautiful and well decorated with a lot of personal touches. You feel the warmth and welcome as you enter. They did a very nice job of landscaping with lots of bird feeders and a blue martin house. Blue Martins are supposed to eat mosquitoes and Darin installed an electronic device that calls them with their sound. Thanks guys for a delightful evening.

We went over to son Eric and family today to take them out for Eric's 47th birthday a day late. Parker was having her riding lesson today so we drove with Cindy to watch her. You can tell how much she enjoys riding and is doing very good.

We then went back to the house and gathered up everyone for dinner at Salt Creek. Very nice dinner and visit.

They have a new dog that is a beagle mix and named Bailey. They have only had her one day and she is an escape artist. Got loose twice while we were there and the girls had to chase her down in the neighborhood. Guess she will need some training.

It has been two years since we last saw the granddaughters and what a difference two years make. Kendyl is soon to be 15 and Parker just turned 12. Both have grown, matured and are beautiful. Kendyl for her language study chose sign language and is excellent in her signing. She is also involved in competitive dance through the school. Both granddaughters are excellent students.

We are so blessed with all our children and grandchildren.
