A short 3 hr drive today via 210 and 371. We originally were going to stay 5 nights, but have reduced to 2 as we changed our route to stop in Fargo and Bismarck to visit some historic forts.
Camp Ripley is a Minnesota National Guard camp and the RV park is located on base in a wooded area on the Mississippi River. The campground is small, but very nice and well maintained with E/W and a dump station. There is no satellite access, but WI-FI is very good.

The most exciting thing for me are the deer that frequent the campground at night. We would definitely stay here again. Price is $17/nt.

On the base is a very good military museum that is open to the public. It has a good display of arms, jeeps, tanks, helicopters and history of the wars.
