Walk Around Yorktown

16 May 2013

Our last day in the area so we decided to do a walk around Yorktown. There is plenty of free parking and even a free parking garage. Several restaurants and historic houses and buildings.

It is so hot today that at 1000A we stopped in Ben and Jerry's for ice cream.

A visit to the Yorktown Victory Center Museum that features a very nice museum depicting the history of the settling and American Revolution. The outside depicts life at that period of history as well as a Continental Army Encampment. If in the area suggest you visit this.

A very quaint town with a beach and Schooners in the bay for tours.

Tomorrow we leave for Fort George G Meade Army Base for 10 days. We camped here in 2010.
